The Warrior Group Unveiled
The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.
That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
Per the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem unsuited, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.
Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:
- Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
- The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:
- The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
- Tyranny and The healer turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.
This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in quest for the antagonist.
